Welcome to the "Multiscale Materials Engineering" research group, where we focus on developing functional multi-scaled material systems for applications in energy conversion and storage, soft robotics, tissue engineering, and environmental remediation. Our research aims to transfer nanoscopic functionality to the macroscopic scale in order to enable new technologies. Our group is headed by Dr. Fabian Schütt and was founded in 2018. We are associated with the chair of "Functional Nanomaterials" at the Institute for Materials Science at Kiel University in Germany. For more information on our research activities, please have a look here.
